Messier Objects
Many of the most popular deep space objects are classified as 'Messier' objects. This was named for the astronomer Charles Messier (1730-1817). Messier was a French astronomer most notable for publishing an astronomical catalogue consisting of 110 nebulae and star clusters, which came to be known as the Messier objects. It is my hopes of photographing each and everyone of these targets, all from the confines of my 'Heavenly Backyard Astro Garden'.
